eOperations

The goal of the eOperations programme is to contribute significantly to the technological development of the oil and gas industry through research and dissemination, and to educate more and better candidates that can serve the oil and gas industry, the ICT industry and the society in general.

The scientific fields of the programme span most of the department research groups. Five initial focus activities have been identified:

1. Advanced Sensor Systems
2. Challenged network technology
3. Semantic Sensor Networks
4. Reasoning agents for oil and gas ontologies
5. Sustainable and scalable ICT support for Integrated Operations
