Digital Signal Processing and Image Analysis (DSB)
We are part of Centre for Imaging and our research is presented on the center pages.
We work with signal processing and image analysis for applications in medical imaging, sonar, seismics, and remote sensing.
Within signal processing we mainly work with theory and applications of signals from sensor arrays. Applications are in medical ultrasound, sonar and acoustic localization.
The work within image analysis is focused on automatic methods for extracting information from images. The main application areas are medical imaging and remote sensing.
We cooperate with a cluster of Norwegian companies within acoustics, sonar and ultrasound technology. Some of the companies have been started by our own employees and former students.
