Travel costs are covered by BCPL up to 550 EUR per visit. Visitors are requested to purchase their own air tickets (only economy class!) in advance which will be reimbursed in Bergen. In special cases visitors may request BCPL to pre-purchase their air ticket; we need to know about such requests at least a month in advance.

Accommodation

We offer accommodation for visitors (mostly in the university guesthouse) and the cost of the accommodation is covered by BCPL. If need for more than three simultaneous visits occurs, the visitor should bear the excess cost (i.e. costs above 20 EUR/day, which is provided by BCPL as a contribution to accommodation costs). In some cases BCPL may help to find inexpensive accommodation.

Per diem

Visitors will receive a per diem of 30 EUR/night spent in Bergen (= NOK 240/day). No other costs are reimbursed by BCPL. Neither salaries nor insurance will be funded by the Research Infrastructure. In exceptional cases contact BCPL.

Supercomputer access

Supercomputer access (in average 400 CPU hours per user per month), office space, scientific, computational and technical assistance are provided to project visitors free of charge. In case you plan to use more CPU hours than the average, please let us know in advance.
