We are offering two central visualization courses, i.e., INF252 on visualization and INF358 or VISUAL (seminar on visualization) in addition to other courses, e.g., INF219 (project in visualization) during this fall semester.

Results from three recent projects (interactive visualization of dynamic proteins, interactive visual analysis of perfusion data, and hybrid ray-casting of unstructured simulation data) will be presented at the upcoming IEEE Visualization 2007 conference, Oct. 28 - Nov. 1, 2007, in Sacramento, California. What a nice success! ;-)

On May 21st & 22nd, 2007, about 60 participants from Bergen, Norway, and from abroad met in Bergen, Norway, to discuss visualization and its applications. Ten invited talks of selected visualization researchers (six from the international visualization community) as well as of top domain specialists (four from selected local fields of potential application of visualization) formed an interesting program together with a lot of stimulating discussion.
