RESEARCH

As part of the SAGA Project, I investigate the possibility of (arbitrary depth) nested parallel programming concepts based on multi-level Data Dependency Algebras (DDAs), from the on-chip parallelism of microprocessors via parallel machines up to the e-grid. At present I am combining DDA concepts with low-level hardware design elements and hardware programming with a strong focus on multi-core and GPU programming (e.g. Cell and NVIDIA's CUDA). I am also a member of the Department's Multi-core programming group.
