Student Volunteers

Student Volunteers a very important part of the CSCL conference. Volunteers are often the first responders to attendee questions, providing valuable information and directions that enhance the conference experience. The Student Volunteer program is an opportunity for students around the world to associate with the top researchers and practitioners in CSCL. Work assignment includes assisting with the sessions and panels, supporting workshop and tutorial leaders, technical support, checking badges at doors, manning the information booth, helping attendees find ways around the conference venue and general go-for assistance to keep the conference running smoothly.

In return for about twenty hours of work immediately before and during the conference, student volunteers receive free registration, including free admissions to paper sessions, tutorials and workshops (space permitting), free lunches and refreshments for the main days, and other benefits.

We are looking for reliable, hard-working and enthusiastic students who are excited about the conference and want to help us in making CSCL 2003 a first class international event in our field. We have limited space, so sign up early. Upon acceptance you will be asked to provide confirmation of student status.

Applications are due: December 14th 2002
