Room reservation:

Deadline for all applications: 1.6. for the autumns semester and 31.10. for the spring term.

For exchange/visiting students arriving in the autumn:

Due to the difficult housing situation in the student village we can no longer guarantee housing unless the reservation is made from August 1st. (This means if you are arriving in September/October you still have to pay the rent from August 1st). If you are arriving after August 1st and you choose to reserve a room from the day you plan on arriving, you will be put on the waiting list together with the Norwegian students. Students arriving in July are not affected by this policy and will pay rent from the day they arrive. The reason the housing office has this policy is that the demand for housing at the student village is very high during the first months (August/September/October). We sincerely regret any inconveniences this policy might cause for you.

If the student home gets your reservation on a shorter notice and have problems with your accomodation you will be informed by e-mail. See also: http://www.ntnu.no/intersek/guidelines/predepartinfo2000.htm.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

This room reservation is binding!!!!!! If you wish to postpone your arrival date you must notify us in writing as soon as possible. We must have received the notification of any changes noted on this form at the LATEST three weeks before the arrival-date noted on this form. In practice this means 20 days since we need one day to notify the housing office. If you fail to notify us you will be liable to pay rent from the arrival-date noted on this form and we have to inform your home institution about this matter.
If you do not arrive within two weeks of the arrival date noted on this form your room reservation will be cancelled and you will be liable for the rent for these two weeks.

If you need to arrive earlier than the arrival-date noted on this form, please notify us at your earliest convenience.
