During 98-May 2001 I was working with IP-based multimedia telephony at Ericsson, Norway. I was involved in standards work, and in overall architecture work

Ericsson Norway was also involved in the architecture for UMTS IMS. In fact we designed a system based on many of the principles later adopted by UMTS standard bodies(3GPP). The system and the architecure is described here:

The system is no longer a product, but many of the principles later adopted by UMTS standard bodies(3GPP).

I was the editor of TINA-C Service Architecture, Ver5.0 and annex
