Vision
The strategic university program (SUP) on Computational Method in Nonlinear Motion Control will investigate the design and analysis of nonlinear motion control systems based on computational methods. This involves numerical optimization, computational fluid dynamics and finite element methods, thus bringing new advanced theory into practice in targeted applications.
By utilizing advanced Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in important applications it will contribute to the strategic initiatives of NTNU, and to increased international competitiveness of Norwegian industries such as maritime industry, medical technology, energy production and processing.
