Work Permit

If you intend to work in addition to your studies, there are a few things you need to be aware of:

Before you start working you need to apply for a part-time work permit. You can get the application form at the International Office.
You cannot work during your first semester at Bodø University College.
You must show sufficient progression in your studies to be eligeble to work. If you produce less than 45 study points (ECTS) per academic year you will not be given permission to work. This must be produced on campus.
You can only work up to 20 hours a week. If you work more than this, you will breach visa regulations, reported to the police and your permit for educational purposes will not be renewed.
