Education and work:
After 3 years at "Ingeniørhøgskolen" I started at the University in 1993. I then got my cand. scient. degree in Nov. 1997 at Avdeling for Mekanikk , Matematisk Institutt , UiO. My superviser was Professor Jostein Hellesland. Shortly afterwards I started working with my Dr. scient. degree supervised by Assistant Professor Harald Osnes and Professor Jostein Hellesland. The first paper will be concentrated around computional analysis of geometric nonlinear effects in adhesively bonded single lap composite joints. Please go here for more information.

Art:
I am interested in art, mainly painting. Painters like Nerdrum and Koren Bjertnes are my favourite painters of today in Norway but the great masters like Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Vermeer, Tizian etc. are of great interest. Last but not least I have to mention my all time favourite Anders Zorn. I paint myself, and after years of copying and practise I feel I start to get control ! Visit the fabulous Statens museum for kunst in Copenhagen SMfK.
