What is NORDAG?NorFA (Nordisk Forskerutdanningsakademi) has granted funds for a Nordic network within algebraic geometry, starting January 1, 2000. The purpose of the network is to promote mobility and cooperation between algebraic geometers in the Nordic countries. About half of the funding is for workshops, the rest is for mobility scholarships. Here is a summary of the network objectives. The NORDAG network is open for researchers and students in algebraic geometry in the Nordic countries. The network is administered by a scientific committee. The members of this committee are:
In addition, the following mathematicians are local network contacts at their institutions:
Mailing listThere is a mailing list nordag@mi.uib.no which is used for general discussions within the network as well as information about activities, deadlines etc. To subscribe to the list, send a mail message to nordag-request@mi.uib.no with a single line containing the word "subscribe" (without the quotes) in the message body (not the subject line). You will receive an automatic reply with further instructions on how to use the list. All members of the network, and in general all algebraic geometers in the Nordic countries, are encouraged to subscribe to the mailing list, as this will be the main channel for information from the network coordinator. It is possible to send messages to the list even without subscribing, though. This web sitePlease send complaints and suggestions for improvements to the NORDAG webmaster! |
