Welcome!
I would like to welcome you all to the 41st Military World Championship in shooting.
Norway was responsible for the Championship in 1959 and 1993, and we are pleased again to be the nation selected, and to host the 2006 Championship. Østerdal Garrison comprises of Rena and Terningmoen camps. The competition activities will take place in Rena Camp, except for the men’s rifle shooting that will be arranged in Terningmoen Camp.
I hope that all participants and leaders will enjoy the facilities and the atmosphere we can offer. Østerdal Garrison wishes to carry out the championship at a high level of professionalism, which an event of this kind acquires.
I whish all the participants good luck at the competition, and may it be in a spirit of fair sportsmanship. With these words in mind, I will give you all my warmest welcome to Østerdal Garrison.
