The project's overall objective is to analyse potential impacts of the internationalisation of agricultural policies on agriculture in Northern Norway and to suggest some possible strategies enabling the agricultural sector in the region to maintain and further develop its activities under new policy conditions.
Sub-goal 1:
To improve public knowledge and to stimulate an open debate about policy developments affecting the agricultural sector in the Northern parts of Norway.
Sub-goal 2:
To contribute to the development of the Norwegian academic knowledge base on international trade regulations and the effects of such regulations on national politics in industries of vital importance for society.
