Bakgrunn og aktiviteter
John Krogstie har en PhD (1995) og mastergrad (1991) innen informasjonssystemer fra NTNU. Han jobber der som professor innen informasjonssystemer ved IDI - Institutt for datateknikk og informasjonsvitenskap. John Krogstie er norsk representant i IFIP TC8, og leder IFIP WG 8.1 innen design og evaluering av informasjonssystemer (2010-2015). Hans forskningsinteresser er modellering av informasjonssystemer, kvalitet av modeller og modelleringsspråk, eForvaltning og mobile informasjonssystemer. Han har publisert rundt 200 artikler i journaler, bølker og konferanser siden 1991.
