Exploring The Use of New Digital Media

Midgard Media Lab is a multidisciplinary project with goal to facilitate advanced new digital media research and find different ways to use new digital media. We are interested both in the technology and the content. Midgard Media Lab is part of the Central Administration of The Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Midgard Media Lab cooperates with the leading actors within telecommunication, technology, media industry and research in the world and in Norway. We want to be among the first ones to use and pilot new media technologies. Our goal is to find new ways to use the new media technologies.

Our strength is collaboration. We have resources from all major disciplines from the NTNU: Technology, Arts, Media, Medicine and Humanities and also work with the Industrial actors.
