Student counselling

Drop-in-counselling every Monday-Thursday, 12:30 to 15:00!

Are you having problems following prescribed progression in your studying? Have you lost your motivations for studying? Then it would be wise to talk to a student counsellor to discuss your situation. There is always a reason for things going wrong. If you want to talk to somebody about your everyday student life or get advise and tips, make contact with a student counsellor.

During a conversation with a student counsellor things can surface which makes it natural to make contact with the social worker service, the counsellors at the departments or the priest service at the university.

It would also be wise if you discuss your problems with a fellow student or friend to get a different view, and maybe even a solution to the problem. The earlier you make contact, the easier it is to do something about small and big problems.

If you need counselling regarding your academic choices, the counsellor at your faculties will be the right person to talk to.

A list of faculty counsellors can be found in the menu.

If you want to make an appointment with our student counsellor at Student Service, come by our office, or send an e-mail. You can also drop in to see if the student counsellor is available right away. Please use the header "Reservation for student counsellor" when sending e-mails.

You can find us on Stripa in Gamle Kjemi, Gløshaugen, (1st floor).
