SiÅs' Kindergarten

SiÅs provides a safe and affordable kindergarten for students' children between the age of 6 months and 3 years. We have 5 assistants who take care of the children in their own homes, in groups of 4 children. We have 2 bases on Campus - the groups meet here on a regular basis.

The kindergarten is closed for the whole of July.

The normal application deadline is 1st March, but every year we retain up to 3 spare places to be allocated in the autumn. The application deadline for these places is 7th August. Application forms can be obtained from the Student Office in the Student Union Building (Student-ekspedisjonen in Studentsamfunnet), or by contacting the kindergarten head Tove Søvik. Application forms can be delivered at the same place.

All parents automatically become members of the parent council. In addition, one parent and one of the assistants sit on the committee for the kindergarten. Read more here.
