Norad's Programme for Master Studies (NOMA) 2006-2010
NOMA is a programme providing financial support to develop and run Master Degree Programmes in cooperation between higher education institutions in the South and corresponding institutions in Norway.
The aim of all educational activities within NOMA is to educate staff in public and private sector, as well as NGOs, in the South.
Masters programmes supported through NOMA are established and developed in the South in close collaboration with Norwegian institutions. The needs and priorities of the countries in the South is the basis for cooperation between the partners in the South and in Norway.
The programme is financed by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) and managed by SIU. The total budget frame for the current programme period (2006-2010) is NOK 343 million.
