ProLearn
The ProLearn project is a collaboration between researchers from the Institute for Educational Research, University of Oslo and the Centre for the Studies of Professions, Oslo University College. The project is lead by Professor Karen Jensen .
It has three main objectives:
- To develop theories on professional learning and identity formation in a direction that is sensitive to the shifts in knowledge and culture characteristic of today's society.
- To conduct comparative studies between core professions covering their view on knowledge, motivation to learn, identity formation and community alignment.
- To follow up initiatives taken, to construct a European network of researchers on professional learning in order to promote a transdisciplinary theoretical discourse and lay the ground for comparative studies.
