Nyheter:
Change in the ban on the import of meat and dairy products from Great Britain – in connection with the outbreak of foot and mouth disease (FMD)
[15.08.2007] Pursuant to regulations adopted by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority, it is prohibited to import meat and dairy products from the afflicted arreas in Surrey in Great Britain.

Tax on emissions of NOx - information in English
[21.03.2007] Information concerning tax on emissions of NOx in Norway is now available in English. The information includes all relevant regulations as well as comments from the Directorate of Customs and Excise, and can be found under "Excise duties".   Tax on emissions of NOx 2007 (pdf)
 
Announcement from the Director General
[09.01.2007] The Director General Ms. Marit Wiig has decided to leave her present post as Director General of Customs and Excise in Norway by the end of August 2007. She will then take up a new position in the Ministry of Finance.
