My research interests are:
- Applied Geophysics and Solid Earth Physics.
- Global Optimization.
- Numerical Analysis (Computational Science).
- Seismology and Microseismicity.
- Seismic Hazard in the Oil Industry.
- Parallelization of Code.
I got my Master degree in Geophysics/Geology and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics at
University of Aarhus, Denmark. The Ph. D. in
Geophysics/Seismology was obtained at
Institute of Solid Earth Physics,
University of Bergen,
Norway,
I worked there as assistent, university stipendiate, and postdoc. Also, I was a postdoc in Italy
at
Dipartimento di Scienze della Terra,
University of Trieste.
Since 1998, senior scientist at
UNIFOB
(
Parallab since 1998
and
Unifob Petroleum
since 2003). Member of the bord for "Forskerforbundet v. Unifob" since 2002.
