Roger and Erna...

Hello from IPP Bergen !
We are two students who are attending a two-day course in multimedia at the Department of Education in Bergen.
We would like to introduce ourselves and our interests to you.
Roger: Where do you come from?
Erna: I come from Bergen. (surprised you there, didn`t I...) Tell us about yourself, Roger.
Roger: I come from Byrkjelo in Nordfjord, near one of the famous Norwegian fjords. I have studied German in Volda and Trondheim, English in Bø in Telemark and history in Volda.
What have you studied, and where?
Erna: My subjects are English, historiy and psychology, and last but not least this practical pedagogical seminar that both of us are doing this semester.
I ´ve stayed in Bergen during all my studies.
Now tell me Roger, what are your interests like, what would you like to learn from our course in multimedia?
Roger: I´ve got several interests, e.g. language - especially dialects and language history -, and history with emphasis on local history. I train karate and I`m fond of hiking in the mountains. From this course I hope to learn new methods of teaching, which will make the subjects more interesting to the kids (read: pupils). What, then, Erna, are your interests and goals with the course?
Erna: I too am looking for new methods of teaching my subjects. The pedagigical perspective interests me, both for quick and slow learners. I think internet can provide an interesting way of interaction between different subjects. Students can develope cultural knowledge as well as they practise their English.
From this interview we hope that you have got a picture of us and our interests, and of how we want to use Internet.
Goodbye for now !
