Deadline for cancellation (includes a fee of 500 NOK): June 1, 2007.
Cancellations made later than June 1, 2007 provide no refund.
Overview of the Admission Process
January/February: The ISS processes applications.
February: The ISS starts admitting self-paying students to undergraduate courses.
March: Committees meet to select applicants to scholarships and for the graduate courses
March/April: Nominations for Cultural Agreement Scholarship recipients are sent to the ISS from various institutions
(see here).
April: Admission letters and Pre-Arrival Information go out to those admitted on scholarships and for graduate
courses. Admitted students start preparing for the summer.
April: Self-paying students must pay the course fees.
April: Students in need of visa must apply for a visa using the ISS admission letter and proof of insurance.
April/May: A waiting list will likely develop for our Norwegian Language courses. Applicants are told to
indicate how long they are willing to stay on the waiting list.
April/May: Admitted students must sign and return the admission letter and, if applicable, return any documentation the ISS
requests.
April/May: Students must arrange for their travel or confirm the travel arrangements made for them by the ISS.
June: Students arrive at the ISS June 22-24 and stays until August 3, 2007.
