The course gives an introduction to the basic models and notions in micro- and macro-economics. In the macro-economic part, models for the national product, IS/LM, AS/AD, inflation and unemployment are discussed.
The student should master the basic models and principles of economics, and be able to analyse simple economical questions both qualitatively and quantitatively by mathematical arguments.
