CIGENE

Short term visits
CIGENE funds travel and accommodation expenses for a two-week stay for at least 12 persons per year. The primary objectives of these visits are to stimulate the output of high-quality papers and to consolidate our international collaborative network. Postdocs, junior scientists as well as senior scientists from all scientific fields of relevance for CIGENE are potential candidates.

Sabbaticals
CIGENE is making serious efforts to establish a stimulating intellectual environment over a wide range of fields. If you would like to be part of this for a longer period, we would very much like to be contacted by you. We will be able to help you with the practical details which normally have to be solved in connection with sabbaticals. We may also be able to provide some funding.

If you would like to come under consideration for receiving an invitation for a short term visit or to start discussions concerning a sabbatical. please send an email to Stig W. Omholt (stig.omholt@umb.no), where you outline what you would like to achieve by the visit. There are no deadlines, and decisions will be made on a continuous basis.
