Electronics and hardware

General information on the research area:
The enabling technologies for future wireless high-performance, low power multi-media terminals include low power VLSI and system-on-chip (SoC) technology, integrated radio transceivers, embedded microprocessors, reconfigurable logic, software/hardware co-design and verification, efficient digital signal processing, low-voltage mixed-signal circuit design and integration of electro-mechanical devices. Our research is targetting new hardware architectures, efficient design methodologies including Built-in Self-Test (BIST), and design verification by simulation, by formal methods, and by hardware emulation and physical prototyping.
