General information on the research area:
Information modelling is concerned with semantic modelling of information, in order to capture the meaning of data, and with information management processes and their relationship to the external world of organization and business processes. Linguistic techniques are used to ease the management and retrieval of information in large document collections. The document indices and search interface may make use of phrase structures and linguistic relations to allow the end-users to search for documents using natural language phrases.
