    Current research interest:
Comparative studies are supposed to shed more light upon outdoor life (friluftsliv), experiential learning, environmental education and the attitudes to nature in different European countries from historical and contemporary perspectives. How do firsthand meetings with nature lend themselves to tuning our lifestyles in harmony with nature? How can good meetings with nature develop a sense of joy in being in nature? Which are the impacts of outdoor experiences? Where did the ideologies come from and who were the ideals?
