Internationalsation is an integrated part of all the activity at Volda University College (VUC), built upon the Bologna process. The international work is emphasized in all study programmes, through the exchange of teaching staff, internationally oriented research and by offering teaching and syllabi in English. The programmes of study and the overall learning environment are organized so as to accommodate students who represent - in a Norwegian context - a minority cultural and language background.   Norwegian is the main language of instruction, but the University college also offers courses in English for exchange/study abroad students.
