Replacement

Borrowing rules: if you do not return what you have borrowed, this is what happens
  • First, you receive a reminder asking you to return the item. This first and any second reminder is sent by e-mail (studentpost address)
  • A third reminder is sent to your home address by post. If you then fail to return the item, your borrowing account is blocked so that you cannot borrow any further items.
  • Following this, you receive a demand for replacement. The matter is then handed over to the finance department of the college which is responsible for collecting the replacement sum. You receive an invoice from that department.

  • You must then do one of the following three things:
    1. return the book
    2. buy a replacement for the book and deliver it to the library
    3. pay the replacement sum

If the item is returned after a replacement demand has been sent, you must still pay a surcharge of kr. 250, -.

Surcharges which are not paid are sent to an external debt collector.

Replacement sum

Replacement sum is based on the following rates:

  • Minimum kr. 500,- for internal loans + a surcharge of kr. 250,-
  • Minimum kr. 800,- for external loans + a surcharge of på kr. 250,-
