Request for Diploma

Once you have completed a degree at the University of Bergen, you may order your Diploma here. Your request will go directly to your Faculty and your Diploma will usually be issued within four weeks. The Diploma will be sent by registered mail to your given address.

Important: All Diplomas (except those for the Quota Programme Students) are issued in Norwegian only. Unqualified orders will be disregarded. Internal UiB Masters programme applicants do not have to enclose a Bachelors' Diploma with their application.

Other education:

Examinations taken at other institutions than UiB, which are to be recognised as a part of your degree, must be presented in original at the Student Services' service desk in Langes gate 1 prior to ordering your diploma. Without a proper course descriptions in English, a complete Diploma Supplement in English cannot be issued.

Exams taken this semester:

If you've had any examination this semester which should be part of your degree, please make sure the results are registered on the StudentWeb before ordering your Diploma.

Name changes:

Have you changed your name since you last were registered as a student at UiB, an original marriage certificate or name change certificate must be presented or send to the Student Services' service desk in Langes gate 1 before ordering you Diploma.

Please note: The Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and Law automatically issue your Diploma.
I have shown all original documentation of examinations taken at other institutions than UiB which should be recognised as a part of my degree.
All examinations that are part of my degree have been completed at the University of Bergen.
