After you are admitted to studies at UiO, there are some important things you need to do.
1. Apply for visa / residence permit
You should preferably apply on line.
2. Apply for student housing
Apply for housing before 1 June (autumn semester) or 1 November (spring semester).
3. Book tickets and travellers insurance
Make sure you keep your used tickets and boarding cards to get the travel reimbursement
4. Arriving in Oslo
- How to get to the SiO centre
- Bring enough money for the days until you receive your Start Up Check from the Loan Fund during Orientation Week.
- Exchange for Norwegian kroner before you leave the airport or use the ATM cash machine.
