Introduction to DNV, course no. 2001
DNV’s organisational structure is divided
into the Business Areas (BA) Maritime,
Energy, Industry and IT Risk Mgmt. and
subdivided into regions, in order to provide
local service globally.
The overriding principle is that a Business
Area (BA) is totally responsible and
accountable for managing its business
worldwide. The individual Business Area is
responsible for all its resources, which
include people, knowledge and capital.
