Delivering more than a certificate

Within UK airspace, the National Air Traffic Services (NATS) is at all times responsible for maintaining aircraft separation while on route or while landing or taking off from airports where it operates air traffic control. On average, NATS handles 5,000 aircraft movements in a day.

Systems and procedures are imperative for making air travel efficient and safe. They have to be documented, checked, and double-checked. NATS’ management system is certified by DNV according to ISO 9001.
