Teaching and related stuff

Autumn ’05 I teach LOG/INF 904 – Data Mining

Spring '05 I teach IN 740 - Heuristic Optimization Methods

Research interests

My research interest is mainly focused around (meta-)heuristic search methods for combinatorial optimization problems, focused on the application of Tabu Search and Learning Techniques using adaptive memory processes. The methodolical work has focused on methods for solving general 0/1 MIP’s and Satisfiability problems. My applied work is in vehicle and vessel routing, crew rostering and forestry planning.

My papers should give some additional hints.

Other things

I have arranged the Nordic MPS '98 Conference and TraLog in 2004.
