The Board

The Board is comprised of one student from each faculty, along with a President and Vice-President. The Board is responsible for the week-to-week operations of the Student Parliament.

Areas of responsibility:

• The Board is responsible for the week-to-week operations of the Student Parliament.
• The Board prepares for and reports on matters that are discussed in the Assembly.
• The President is also Chairman of the Board.
• The Board has the decision-making authority in matters where deadlines or the situation indicates that the Assembly cannot be called to meet.
• The Board is responsible for offering and arranging courses/seminars for elected representatives at the faculty level and at higher levels in the student democracy, and for enabling the student councils to draw on its expertise.
