The President, Vice-President and Organizational Consultant

The Student Parliament has a President, Vice-President and an Organizational Consultant, all of whom serve full-time.

President

Mr. Vegard Johan Jæger is the President for 2006 - 2007.

• The President is the Student Parliament's highest-ranking elected representative and, as such, is responsible for the Parliament's operations. He also represents the Student Parliament's image.
• The President is responsible for keeping tabs on the Secretariat and the Board.
• The President is obliged to follow up on Board matters and the student representatives.
• The President is responsible for liaising with the college administration on behalf of the students.
• The President is responsible for the follow-up of all internal matters at the college, except for those concerning international students.
• The President is responsible for the follow-up of students at the college.

• The President is responsible for liasing with other student organizations in Oslo, and with the local authorities.

Vice-President

Ms. Gunnhild Orten is the vice president

Areas of responsibility:

• The Vice-President represents the Student Parliament of Oslo University College [HiO] at the national and international levels.
• The Vice-President's job involves welfare and academic policies at the national level.
• The Vice-President is responsible for liaising with StL and the national government in the above-mentioned matters.
• The Vice-President is responsible for maintaining communication with the members of the Board and for the follow-up of all OAS matters.
• The Vice-President is supposed to relieve the President and be his/her deputy during the President's absence or when things are hectic.
• The Vice-President is responsible for liasing with international welfare and solidarity organizations at the university college.

Organizational Consultant

Mr. Ola Buxrud is the organizational consultant and the employed advisor for the Student Parliament. He is is in charge of day-to-day operations and communications at the Student Parliament's office. As an experienced student politician he is allso a valuable resource and advicer for the President, the Vice President and the Board.
