Introduction
We would like to welcome you to Telemark University College, at the Faculty of Technology. In this information-booklet you will find useful details which aim to help you through your studies. If you cannot find the answer to your question, please contact the Reception by the main entrance, building B. If they cannot help you, they will direct you to the right person.
It is our policy that both students and staff should find most of the information they need on our web pages. We also aim at giving all relevant information available in both Norwegian and English parallel. Unfortunately, due to some unexpected problems with changing from one web editor to another we have not been able to update our information in English in time for semester start. We apologise for this inconvenience. However, we hope that you will find most of the information you need as a new student in this booklet. Where it is relevant, we have included references and addresses to the relevant web-pages, and English information will continually be updated as we work along.
In the meantime, we ask you to go through this booklet in order to get an overall view of our organization and our routines. And please, don't hesitate to call on the administration or your academic program coordinator for more information. The administration's offices are located on the first floor in building B, easiest accessed by the stairs immediately next to the Reception area by the main entrance.
