Content:
This is a programme in basic biology. It emphasises the close relationship between the various branches of biology, and between living organisms and the non-living environment. The programme may be taken together with Biology II.
The programme is divided into the following courses:
Field biology
Botanical studies
Zoology
Cell biology
Ecological and biological diversity
Teaching and learning methods:
The programme includes two longer field trips. In addition, there is field work in various biotopes in the local environment. Field and laboratory studies are mandatory. The teaching alternates between Internet-based learning and seminars at the university college.
