Prerequisites

Theory of electricity or equivalent.

Course Objectives

Alternating current (AC) theory and proficiency in handling AC problems. Basic knowledge about and skill in the use of computer-aided drafting programs (CAD).

Course Description

Different conditions of single phase, and symmetrical/asymmetrical three phase networks. Basic functions of 2D-AutoCAD. Some knowledge about 3D.

Learning Methods

Lectures, exercises, mandatory work in electrical and CAD laboratories.

Assessment Methods

Under way exams and tests (30 %), final exam (70 %). To pass the subject the final exam has to be passed.
