Prerequisites

EE1006 Digital Techniques.

Course Objectives

Students will:

Gain knowledge and skills in PLS programming, configuration of fieldbus and setting up and using frequency converters.

Learning Methods

Seminars and semester assignments in groups.

Course Description

Basic training in PLS and programming of these together with fieldbus and frequency converters. Seminars will be held on the use of relevant PLSs, frequency converters and programming tools. The detailed description of the semester assignment will focus on relevant aspects of the subject matter of the course.

Assessment Methods

Continuous assessment (60%) and a report from the semester assignment (40%).
