Course Objectives

This course gives the basic understanding for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).In addition to learn the theory, the student will learn to use Fluent.

2x2hr lectures and 1x2hr tutorial per week.

Course Description

This course gives the basic understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Multidimensional effects, complex geometries, steady state and transient simulations, heat and mass transfer, turbulence modelling, chemical reactions, multiphase flows and numerical algorithms are included.

Written Examination.
