Department of Chemical Engineering

At the Department of Chemical Process Technology (IKP) we take chemistry from the laboratory scale to industrial production. This requires a broad spectrum of knowledge, from molecular processes at a nano-level, to construction and operation of large processing plants. The Departement has the capacity to train up to 70 engineers (MSc) every year.

3rd NTNU SEMINAR Synthesis and Applications of Carbon Nanofibers/Nanotubes

–  Wednesday 14/02 2007 kl 0830, Aud. PFI 5101
Carbon nanotubes (CNT) and nanofibers (CNF) have many unique properties resulting in a variety of applications. A multidisciplinary research is extremely important to develop either large scale industrial applications or fascinating applications of carbon nanomaterials. The seminar will address progress at the frontiers of fundamental as well as applied research and aims at promoting exchange of ideas and results as well as the research on CNT/CNF in Norway.
