Statistics Norway Development Cooperation
The objective of Statistics Norway's development cooperation is to provide assistance within the field of official statistics to sister organizations in developing and transition countries. We contribute to the development of their statistical systems and capacity building trough statistical institutional cooperation. Since 1994, the Division for Development Cooperation has been responsible for the coordination of this activity in Statistics Norway.

The development of statistical capacity involves both to strengthen individual skills, as well as to develop national statistical offices as institutions, including their management capacity.
