As a result of the dramatic incident at the Norwegian embassy in Damascus, all preparation and processing of cases has temporarily been stopped.
Those who have sent in applications during the last 3 to 4 weeks might have to reapply, due to the damages caused by the fire.
Applicants who have recently been granted a permit by the embassy are asked to visit other Norwegian Foreign Service Missions in the region for departure.
