Single courses on Bachelor's level

Some courses on Bachelor's level may be available for students who are not admitted to a programme. You need to fulfill the requirements, including proficiency of Norwegian and English.

General admission requirements

Applicants must document the Higher Education Entrance Qualification (generell studiekompetanse) including Norwegian and English language proficiency.

The Norwegian language requirement applies for all bachelor's courses, even when the course is offered in English. Only students following an international exchange programme are exempt from this requirement.

Additional requirements

Courses in informatics and Natural Sciences have special admission requirements. These and other courses may have other requirements as well. Check the course description of each course.

How to apply

If you fulfill the requirements, you need to submit an application (information in Norwegian) for single courses within the current deadline.

Which courses are available for single course students?

Single course students can only apply for courses that still have vacant places after the degree programme students have chosen their courses. Therefore, it is not possible to predict which courses will be available each semester.
