Required specialization

Ranking of applicants

Applicants are ranked according to their average grade in the specialisation of their degree.

Either:

  • With an in-depth study of at least 80 ECTS credits within either Arabic, Hebrew, Persian or Turkish language at the BA-level.  Applicants will be ranged on the basis of these 80 credits, with the minimum average grade C, corresponding to the Norwegian grading system.

Or:

  • Applicants who have documented their knowledge of Arabic, Hebrew, Persian or Turkish with transcripts from national secondary school, will be ranged on the basis of their specialisation, corresponding to at least 80 ECTS credits in a relevant discipline in cultural or social science studies. The minimum average grade of these 80 ETCS credits must be C, corresponding to the Norwegian grading system.

Applicants who cannot be ranked according to their grade average, will be ranked on the basis of an individual assessment.
