    IMAPS is IMAP with SSL. It is safer than IMAP, and is used here at NTNU. This article is a short guide to adding your e-mail account to Outlook with IMAPS (IMAP with SSL). You can use the same key points when setting up your e-mail in other clients.

      Choose <trykk>Tools - E-mail accounts</trykk>, <trykk>Add</trykk>. Check for <trykk>IMAP</trykk> and choose <trykk>Next</trykk>. Enter your information like the following picture:

      Choose <trykk>More settings</trykk>, <trykk>Advanced</trykk> and check for <trykk>This server requires a secure connection (SSL)</trykk>. and the port will change to 993.
