                <avsnitt>NTNU offers a multitude of software freely to both students and employees. The software is available through two channels; <ekstern uri="http://www.orakel.ntnu.no/#kontakt">Orakeltjenesten</ekstern> and Progdist. Progdist is NTNU's software repository. Students can download software from Progdist both for home use and for use at the university. Follow these links for HOWTOs.</avsnitt>

                <os2>The folder stucture of Progdist</os2>
                <avsnitt>Progdist has been divided into three main folders. Where you find a specific program depends on the license it is available under.</avsnitt>

                        <li><uthev>Campus</uthev>: The software in this folder has been purchased by NTNU and made available to all Students ans Employees.</li>
                        <li><uthev>Fri</uthev>: Software in this folder is available freely on the internet, and exists merely for the convenience of the users.</li>
                        <li><uthev>Betal (in English: "Pay")</uthev>: This folder is not available to normal users. If you need software located in this folder, please contact Orakeltjenesten.</li>
                </ul>
                <avsnitt>For information about the license of a particular piece of software, read the <uthev>lesmeg.txt</uthev> file located in the same folder as the software.</avsnitt>
